Highlights
Maikel Menéndez, a young creator and reknowned architect, proposes a mix of themes from art and his architectural background. With a sui generis technique in which photography and painting are manipulated to flow together, Menéndez presents us with monochrome and abstract projects with a new vision of cityscapes - cities that observe us daily and that we re-define time and time again. Certain stylistic elements set him apart, such as strong outlines, and wide use of contrast. As well as being a young talent, Menéndez takes on Cuban fine art with a new, renovating and interesting proposal.
